A young family returned to the Vineyard in search of a place for the long haul. Tucked away at the end of a bumpy dirt road, the project aims to integrate nature, functionality, and aesthetics to create an inviting and timeless outdoor experience. A large community of existing oak trees were carefully preserved to surround the home, providing buffer and privacy to the surrounding neighbors and preserving important pieces of wildlife habitat.

At the heart of the design is a commitment to sustainability and integration with the surrounding landscape. Carefully selected plantings provide year-round visual interest while supporting local biodiversity. Hardscape elements, including elegantly crafted pathways and gathering spaces, create a fluid and intuitive experience, inviting visitors to explore, pause, and engage with their surroundings.

This project is more than just a landscape - it’s a young and thriving habitat. A place where architecture and nature converge to inspire, rejuvenate, and endure.
